Program Infomation
Master Program in Epidemiology and Health Statistics (MEHS) is a multi-disciplinary program which aims to develop a better understanding of health and prevention of ill health through vigorous research and the development of research methodology. After the study of this program, students will gain the basic ability to do scientific research on epidemics and health problems, will be able to do epidemiological research on various illnesses applying the principles and methods of Epidemics and solve the practical epidemic problems in society.Objective:
The three year full-timeprogram is intended to enhance students’ basic theories and competence in research in public health, prevention and treatment of diseases, and other related fields, and advance students to become professionals in the specific fields.
Curriculum:
Comprehensive Chinese, Medical Statistics, Introduction to Research in Medical Science, Introduction to Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics, Management and Analysis of Data, Clinical Epidemiology, Medical Molecular Biology, Epidemiology and Health Statistics, Occupational and Environmental Health, Maternal and Child and Adolescent Health.
